Generating interest in the new Rx orders experience
Situation
We were rolling out a new pharmacy orders experience. The new Your Orders page would replace the old Recent Orders page, providing more useful information, more options and a cleaner interface.
Task
My design team and I were tasked with generating interest in this new Rx orders experience.
Action
We created an overlay for iOS and Android users so they could see the new experience as it rolled out. This would inform users about the new features and build up interest.
In order to keep customers clicking through, the 4-part presentation needed to be scannable, informative and conversational. I had to toe the line between keeping copy light and giving all the relevant info. After many rounds of updates and presentations to many stakeholders — including the Board of Directors — we came up with this finalized overlay.
Results
As of August 2024:
- 1.3 million users have seen the overlay across iOS and Android
- 54% have clicked all the way through instead of exiting
